Rose Mary Rogers

Rose Mary “Rosy” Rogers, age 83, of Long Beach passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Rosy was born on July 20, 1940 in Gulfport and attended high school in Long Beach where she was voted Miss Long Beach High School and Most Beautiful by her classmates. She worked for Seth’s Lawn Mower Repair for over 40 years. Rosy was an active member of her widows’ group. She frequently met with classmates of 1958. Rosy loved gardening and propagating plants for her friends and family. She also enjoyed participating in activities of her children and grandchildren.

Rosy was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo Dauro and Dorothy Dauro; husband, Louis "Buddy" Rogers; and sister, Jane Berdine.

Survivors include her children, Seth Rogers and Melissa Fischer (Randy); grandchildren, Faren Knowles (Dustin) and Tara Bailey (Destin); and great-grandchildren, Addison Knowles, Henley Knowles, and Evelyn Bailey.

A prayer service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a reception at 679 Klondyke Road, Long Beach, MS 39560 following interment. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Rogers family.
