Rosita Sarmiento Stringfellow

Mrs. Rosita Sarmiento Stringfellow, age 64, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Friday, September 18, 2009, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS. Mrs. Stringfellow was a member of the church choir at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church Survivors include her husband, Ted Alan Stringfellow, a son, Ted Alan Stringfellow, Jr., both of Ocean Springs, MS., four sisters, Estela Silagpo, Flora Reyes, Guillermina Sarmiento, and Elena Castillio, two brothers, Alexander Sarmiento and Porferio Sarmiento of Bias City, Negros Oriental, Philippines. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 24, 2009, from 6 PM - 8 PM at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. On Friday, September 25, 2009, the body will lie in state from 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM with a 9:45 AM Mass of Christian Burial in the church with Father Bernard Farrell officiating. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
