Roy "Don" McGee

Roy “Don” McGee, 66, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 in Ocean Springs.

Don was born on March 9, 1957 in Lawrenceburg, TN to James Daniel McGee and Edna Elizabeth Waters McGee. He graduated from Lawrence County High School in Lawrenceburg, TN. Don was employed as Finance Director for Sharp Motor Company in Pulaski, TN. He enjoyed singing in a quartet and watching the Tennessee Volunteers football and basketball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Daniel McGee and Edna Elizabeth Waters McGee; and his stepmom, Marie Kilburn.

Don’s survivors include his wife of 23 years, Rosemarie McGee; his children, Jeremy D. McGee (Shari) of Hohenwald, TN, Jessica N. McGee (Jeremy) of Collinwood, TN, Captain Richard A. Miller, U.S. Army (Lacey) of Ft. Carson, CO and Regina Tino (Mike) of Plant City, FL; his grandchildren, Hannah Scruggs, Jonah McGee, Aidan Russ, Jayden Russ and Shaylynne, Gavin and Silas Corbin; his great-grandson, Henry Corbin; his siblings, Myra Conner (Ira), Linda Sandlin (Mike), Kathy Mills; and his pets, Radar, Shadow Cat and Big Boy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Glenrock Church in Leoma, TN. Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery in Piney, TN.
