Roy Edwards, Sr.

Roy Louis Edwards, Sr., age 83, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Edwards was retired from the USAF with thirty years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Lillie Edwards; sister, Bessie Marie Marler; brothers, James Edwards and Jerry Owens. Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Elizabeth Ann Edwards; daughter, Susan E. Creel of Lucedale; sons, Roy Edwards, Jr. of Biloxi, James M. Edwards of Ocean Springs and Ralph E. Edwards of Vancleave; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. where friends may visit one hour prior to service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.
