Ruby Carlene Dearchs

Ruby Carlene Dearchs, 99, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend, peacefully entered her eternal rest on December 12, 2024, surrounded by family. Born on December 2, 1925, in Butler, Alabama, Ruby was the embodiment of grace, kindness, and unwavering faith.

She was a devoted wife to her husband of nearly 56 years, a love story that stood as a testament to commitment and partnership. Together, they built a life filled with joy, faith, and family. Ruby’s legacy lives on through her four children, Linda Lott, Ron Moseley, Jack Moseley, and Claude Dearchs, as well as her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who were all touched by her boundless love and warmth.

Ruby was a Godly woman who lived her faith daily. She had a joyful spirit, always smiling and bringing light to those around her. She had a servant’s heart, always willing to lend a helping hand and provide encouragement to anyone in need. Ruby’s presence was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will remain a source of inspiration for her family and community.

Though her time on earth has come to an end, Ruby Carlene Dearchs leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness that will forever be cherished by those she loved and those who loved her.

A celebration of Ruby’s life will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Robinwood Baptist Church, Gulfport, with a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.  Flowers and/or donations can be sent to Robinwood Baptist Church in her memory. 

She is now at peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Rest well, Ruby. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
