Ruby Dronet Creel, 81, of Biloxi died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 in Biloxi.
Ruby was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church (Blessed Seelos). Ruby belonged to the LaPetite Social Club. She was an Arts and Crafts instructor for the Senior Citizens and worked at Southern Shell Fish Company. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, especially beaded Christmas ornaments.
Preceded in death by her husband, Norman J. Creel, Sr. (Blackie), her parents, Octave and Alta Dronet, son, Norman "Chin" J. Creel, Jr., sister, Daisy Dronet Seymour, brother, Ray Dronet, two grandchildren, Dawn Marie and Rodney Creel, Jr.
Survivors include daughters, Linda Creel Dodson of Biloxi, Dixie Creel (Chris) Bellman of Biloxi, sons, Rodney (Linda) Creel of Vancleave, Kenny (Cathy) Creel of Biloxi, brothers, Harry Dronet of Biloxi, Lloyd Dronet of Victoria, TX, 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, October 12, 2008, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Biloxi.
Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, October 13, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour prior. Interment: Biloxi City Cemetery.
