Ruby Eleanor Herring Hickman

Mrs. Ruby Eleanor Herring Hickman, age 86, of Raceland, LA., died Monday, January 31, 2005, in Houma, LA. Mrs. Hickman was born in Perry County, MS., and was a longtime resident of the Villa Maria Retirement Home in Ocean Springs. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Hickman, sister, Inez Caspalich, and a grandson, Shane Boudreaux. Mrs. Hickman is survived by two sons, Keith E. Hickman, and wife, Patty, of Houma, LA., and Alfred Hickman of North Carolina, a sister, Gladys Forshee of Gulfport, MS., five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, from 6-8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Thursday, February 3, 2005, there will be a 1 PM graveside service at the Paramount Cemetery in Perkinston, MS. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
