Ruby Muse

Mrs. Ruby Muse, 80, of Phoenix, Arizona, died Monday, November 19, 2007, in Phoenix. Mrs. Muse was born in DeQueen, Arkansas and was a former resident of the Coast before moving to Arizona. She worked as a store clerk and was a Sunday School teacher in Illinois. Mrs. Muse was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Muse, and one granddaughter, Shelly Atkins. Survivors include three daughters, Ann +Vanness of Sun City, AZ, Barbara Simmons and Janett Morris of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Jim Muse and Paul Muse of California;two sisters, Sarah Cvitanovich of Biloxi and rose Jeffries of La Centre, KY; four brothers, Tom Muse of Phenix City, AL, Bill Ivy of Bald Knob, AR, James Donald of Batesville, AR, and Frank Donald of Florida; and eighteen grandchildren. The family prefers that memorials be made to Bay Vista Baptist Church, 2485 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. Pallbearers will be Shannon Robinson, Jay Gautreaux, Tom Muse, Jamey Allen, Johathan Dycus and Jim Gautreaux. Frank Donald will serve as honorary pallbearer. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 26, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Bay Vista Baptist Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Ave., in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
