Rudy Leon Ingram

Rudy Leon Ingram, age 77, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Gulfport. He was born in Rogers, Arkansas and was reared by his grandparents Homer and Elizabeth Ryan of Biloxi and Ocean Springs. Mr. Ingram was retired from Gulf Coast Marine Research Center and Laboratory. He was a local musician and singer and played several instruments, the acoustic guitar being his favorite. He appreciated all various art mediums and he enjoyed anything nature related from boating to horseback riding. He was like McGyver in the kitchen as he could make a meal from nothing. Above all, he loved the concept of fierce and absolute love which drew so many along the way to love him as a son, husband, father, and friend. He is survived by his children, Rudy Ingram, Jr., Rhonda Ingram Armbrester, Dawn Ingram Mendoza, Amber Ingram Jordan; and his step-children, Robert (Bobby) Dale Rough and Cynthia (Cindy) Renee Crawford. The celebration of life service will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Massey Cemetery, 13118 Jim Ramsey Road, Ocean Springs, 39565.
