Russell Lee Wright

Russell Lee Wright, age 53, of Gulfport, died Monday, June 25, 2007 in Gulfport. Mr. Wright was born in Virginia and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for thirteen years. He was retired from the U. S. Air Force and was a Gulf War veteran. He was a member of River of Life Church of God, Gulfport. He is survived by his wife, Susan Wright; a daughter, Angela Welch; a son, Christopher Wright, all of Gulfport; his parents, Bobby Lee and Jane Wright of Bassett, VA; a sister, Rhonda Wright of Huntsville, AL; four brothers, Ronald Wright of Gulfport, Randy Wright of Huntsville, AL, Richard Wright of North Carolina, and Rodney Wright of Huntsville, AL. He was the beloved "Poppa" to his grandchildren Rachel and Toby. Visitation will be held Friday, June 29, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Bradford- O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. A procession will leave the funeral home at 12 noon going to Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi for a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. with military honors.
