Russell David Smith

Russell “Rusty” Smith, 60, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 in Gulfport. 

He enjoyed fishing and loved to cook and grill with his boys and spend time with family. He loved to attend church and fellowship with the saints.

Rusty is preceded in death by his mother, Linda James Cooley; his stepdad, Buddy Cooley and a sister, Tammy Smith.

Survivors include his spouse of thirty-one years, Juanita Smith; a son, Russ Smith; daughter, Tiffany Clolinger (Michael); sister, Debbie Chandler (Rick) and his dad, David Smith, both of St. Petersburg, FL; brothers Randy Smith (Teresa) of Owensboro, KY and Billy Cooley (Michelle) of Pascagoula, MS; sister-in-law, Krystal Walker; grandchildren, Michael, Mason, Maddox and Maverick Clolinger; along with many nieces and nephews. 

Many thanks to all the saints of First Pentecostal Church of Orange Grove and Christopher Lofton for all of their prayers and support.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 27, 2024 at First Pentecostal Church of Orange Grove from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Finley Cemetery, Gulfport, MS.
