Ruth E. Hyatt, 67, of Long Beach, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 in Long Beach. She was a native of Michigan and a longtime resident of Long Beach. She was a seamstress at Grand Casino. Mrs. Hyatt was a past Queen of Elks Carnival in 1984 and was active in Elks Auxillary. She was Baptist. She is survived by her husband, William A. Hyatt of Gulfport; four daughters, Tammy Elaine Cotton of Gulfport, Coral Elizabeth Gosdin of Gainesville, MO, Cindy Sue Thompson of Long Beach, and Dianna Delores Strathman of Mt. Airy, MD; three brothers, Don Forbear of Michigan, Joseph Forbear of Texas, and Robert Forbear of Michigan; and eleven grandchildren. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the service The family prefers memorials to Joppa's Shriners, 13280 Highway 67, Biloxi, MS 39532-7514 or one's favorite charity.
