Ruth Kathleen Phillips Winn

Mrs. Ruth Kathleen Phillips Winn, 66, of Long Beach, MS, died Thursday, June 3, 2010, in Gulfport. Mrs. Winn was born in Laurel, MS and had been a resident of the coast since 1955. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Gulfport. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Clifton Phillips and Virgie Lena Moore Phillips; a sister, Dorothy Smith, and two brothers, Howard Phillips and Jerry Phillips. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Sketoe and Frances Sketoe, both of Richland, MS; two sons, Eddie Phillips and Kevin Sketoe; two sisters, Alice Reese and Mildred Frieze; a brother, Carroll Wayne Phillips, all of Gulfport; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, June 7, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, in Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Evergreen Gardens.
