Ruth M. Slade

Ruth M. Slade, age 82, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 in Gulfport, Ms. She was preceded in death by her parents Adolph and Nan Meisner; her husband Lawrence Carl Slade, Jr.; and her son Jeffrey W. Slade. She is survived by her sons: Larry (Imelda) of Gulfport, Greg (Cindy) of Woolmarket, and George of Gulfport, 5 grandchildren: Lawren Chucta, Stacie Slade, Greg Slade, Jr., Dylan Slade, and Georgielyn Slade; her sisters: Cora Meisner and Carol Hare; and her brother, George Meisner. The family deeply appreciates the comfort and guidance provided to them by Brother Len McRaney during their times of need. Ruth’s wish was for donations to be made to Humane Society of South Missisippi at hssm.org in lieu of flowers. The service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on 15th Street, Gulfport with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M.
