Ruth E. Snell

Mrs. Ruth E. Snell, age 85, was born on December 9, 1929, in Quincey, Massachusetts and was taken by the angels on March 27, 2015. She was a 45 year resident of Ocean Springs and was a 28 year participant of the Gulf Coast craft shows. Mrs. Snell loved life, her family and friends, her dogs, crocheting, Lawrence Welk and the Saints. She was also a retired legal secretary of 60 plus years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Snell (Ret. USAF), daughter, Susan H. Snell Williams, daughter-in-law, Donna Snell, sister, Eleanor Plant and her parents, Henry Edward Harvey and Helen Peck Harvey. Survivors include three sons, Richard G. "Rick" (Ida) Snell Jr, of Vancleave, Lawrence "Larry" Snell of Ocean Springs and Scott D. (Robin) Snell of Gautier, daughter, Diana R. Andrews of Ocean Springs, five grandchildren, Cory Sabata, Steven M. (Kaitlyn) McKenzie, Lauren Snell (Rocky) Musialek, Darrell Snell and Nicholas Snell, one great-grandchild, Kyleigh and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 2, from 10am~11am, followed by a brief sermon and Memorial Service at 11am, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. "We thought of you today, but that was nothing new. We thought of you yesterday and days before that too. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we will never part. God has you in His keeping. We have you ever present in our hearts." You will truly be missed by all of us.
