Samuel Phillips

Mr. Samuel Joseph Phillips, age 47, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Sunday, January 10, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Phillips was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs and a graduate of St. Martin High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, James "Jimmy" Phillips and Joeanne Hannah O'Bryant Phillips, and a brother, Mark A. Phillips. Survivors include a sister, Judy Phillips and her companion, Kali Degrassi of Oakland Park, FL., aunt, Martha (Jerry) Hosey of Sulpher, LA., and an uncle, George "Sonny" (Rebecca Jo) Ladner. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 401 Holcomb Blvd., Ocean Springs, MS. 39564. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
