Samuel Edward Rushing

Samuel Edward Rushing, 51, of D’Iberville, MS passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at his home in D’Iberville.

Mr. Rushing was born on January 19, 1972 in California to Richard and Mary Bain. He received his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Mr. Rushing served in the U. S. Navy during Desert Storm. He would volunteer often for the sheriff’s office. Mr. Rushing enjoyed playing with his grandkids, Carmelo, Leland, Carleigh and Jordyn. He loved doing even the smallest things with his daughter Samantha, like going grocery shopping and going to the cigar shop with his daughter Miracle. Mr. Rushing also enjoyed Marvel and DC movies.

Mr. Rushing is survived by his mother, Mary Bain; his children, Miracle Rushing and Samantha Rushing; his siblings, Arwa Ismael, Nabil Ismael, Mohamed Ismael, Ittifaq Ismael, Abdulwahab Ismael, Abdullah Ismael, Hagar Ismael and Rosalie Rushing; his grandkids, Carmelo, Leland, Carleigh and Jordyn; his niece and nephew, Sahara and Devin; and his great nephew, Legend.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Ismael family, the Ryland family, the Rone family, the Quintor family and the Alghazali family.

A graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00 am.
