Sandra Elaine Williamson

Sandra Elaine Williamson, 60, known as "MawMaw" to most, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011. Elaine was born in Hartselle, AL to J.D. Long and Lucille Ransom on September 15, 1950. She was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and was employed by Biloxi Regional Medical Center for approximately 26 years. Elaine is survived by her husband, James C. Williamson, Jr.; daughter, Sandra R. Schmieder and son-in-law, Eric; two sons, James Anthony Sparks and his wife, April, Charles W. Higdon, Jr. and his wife, Cindy; step-daughter, Janice Williamson; two step-sons, A. J. and Jammadriteal Williamson; six brothers, Hillard, Rufus, Ray, Andy, Randy Long and Jimmy Ransom; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Elaine will be greatly missed by everyone. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
