Sandra K. Morgan

Mrs. Sandra Y. Morgan, 61, of the St. Martin Community, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Morgan was born in Hattiesburg and had been a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was a 1965 graduate of Long Beach High School. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, Burrell and Allyne Young; brother, Butch Young; previous husbands; H. Glenn Whorton, John L. Morgan; best friend, Margie Foster; and her beloved dog, Rotten. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who leaves behind her daughters, Stacy (Peanut) Carroll of St. Martin, Kathryn Ann Hallman of Gulfport, and Jennifer (Nicky) Cvitanovich of D'Iberville; son, Lee A. (Dana) Whorton of St. Martin; step-daughter, Glynda (Roger) Kuehn of Ocean Springs; sister Ann Lingle of Big Sandy, TX; brother, Buster (Connie) Young of Long Beach; grandchildren, Kimberly (Colby) Kahl, Christopher Carroll, Chelsey Langfitt, Cole Patronas, Nick Cvitanovich, Nathan Cvitanovich, Tristan Whorton, Cole Johnson, Dakota Lazenby-Whorton, Shane Whorton, T. J. Neal, Brittany Neal, Cassie Hayes, Tiffany Hayes, Michael Hallman, Miranda Karcher, T. J. Cuevas, Brittany Kuehn, and Rachel Kuehn; two great grandchildren, Colby and Carly Kahl; and best friends, Gloria Jimerson and Jean Harrison. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2008, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O''Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. A private burial will be held at a later date.
