Sandra Kay Barnes

Mrs. Sandra Kay Collins Barnes, 54, of Gulfport, MS, died Friday, August 31, 2007, in Gulfport. Mrs. Barnes was a native of Danville, Arkansas and had been a resident of the coast for the past 40 years. She was a former real estate broker and co-owner of Barnes Wholesale Cars in Gulfport. She enjoyed her family, pets and gardening. Mrs. Barnes will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Collins, and mother and step-father, Modine and Keith Knox, and her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bill Pounds. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Charles J. Barnes, III of Gulfport; two daughters, Robin Grandonico and her husband, Stephen, of Ocean Springs and Lindsey Barnes of Gulfport; father-in-law, Charles J. Barnes, Jr.; two brothers, Bobby Collins of Vancleave and Jerry Collins of D'Lo, MS, and one granddaughter, Alexander Grandonico. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at 7 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit from 5 p.m. until service time.
