Sandra L. Murphy

Mrs. Sandra L. Murphy, age 61, of Vancleave, MS, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Sandra was born in Pascagoula and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. As a single parent, Sandra pursued her education to become a Registered Nurse. She later obtained a Master's Degree in Nursing and taught nursing for the last 18 years. Sandra was a loving wife and mother who was totally devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Robert Murphy, four sons, Steve (Niki) Figueiredo, Brandon (Courtney) Figueiredo, Clifford (Liz) Murphy and Elliott Murphy, two brothers, Leon Darden and Ricky Darden and four grandchildren, Tyler, Seth, Jacob and Graham. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 6, 2013, from 1 pm ~ 3 pm, with a 3 pm chapel service, all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Vancleave #2 Cemetery.
