Sandra Kay Rosetti Hill, age 80, of Vancleave, Mississippi passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Sandra was born August 7, 1943, in Biloxi, Mississippi to Frederick John Rosetti and Mary Ann Glavan Konish.
Sandra was a customer service manager at Walmart and a substitute teacher at Mercy Cross High school in the eighties and nineties. She never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face and loved to give hugs and say hey Babe. Sandra attended Sacred Heart Girls School and is a member of the Slavonian Lodge in Biloxi. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her.
She served on the Bereavement Committee for Sacred Heart Church in D'Iberville MS. Sandra was of Catholic faith and enjoyed teaching CCD, serving as a Lector, participating in the choir and serving as a Eucharistic Minister. She was by her husband's side every step of the way while he was in the United States Marine Corp for twenty-eight years and was with him in the Jackson County Amateur Radio Association as a licensed amateur radio operator known by call sign KE5FTH. She loved working in her yard and swimming in her pool with her grandkids.
Sandra is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Marion Lawrence Hill III (Larry); parents, Frederick John Rosetti and John and Mary Ann Glavan Konish; son, Michael Hill Sr; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marion Lawrence Hill Jr. and Ruby Klorer Hill; and sister-in-law, Betty Hill Perlmutter.
Sandra is survived by her children, Kimberly Hill Hines (Kristopher, Sr), Marion Lawrence Hill, IV (Alison), Deborah Hill Rushing (Scott Jr); brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Holly Hill; brother-in-law, Stanley Perlmutter; niece, Rebecca Perlmutter Matthews; grandchildren, Kristopher Hines, Jr., Kevin Hines, Kellie Hines Hicks, Kenneth Hines, Marion Hill, V., Jennifer Hill Kopszywa, Joshua Hill, Sean Hill, Jennifer Hill Blackwell, Michael Hill Jr., Dylan Rushing, and Siera Rushing; great grandchildren, Kristopher Hines III., Preslei Hines, Easton Hicks, Briley Hines, Maxton Hines, Isabella Hines, Ryker Hines, Walten Hines, Zackary Hines, Loretta Hines, Madilyn Hill, Emily Slaney, Kaden Dennis, lan Kopszywa, Cobi Kopszywa, Gracie Bonham, Lilly Hill, Hunter Stalnaker, Kyleigh Stalnaker, Kayla Ferguson, Taylor Ferguson, Berkley Hill; and great great grandchildren, Fisher Bonham, Ivy Bonham, Maverick Bonham and Archie Berry.
Final Internment will be held at the Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veteran Avenue, Biloxi, MS on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Father Henry McInerney who will officiate the graveside Rite of Committal. Also, a sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Keesler Medical Center, Singing River Hospital, and Vital Care Hospice.
