Sandy Earl Payton

Mr. Sandy Earl Payton, 81, of Forest, MS was born on April 9, 1930 to the late Alfred and Josephine Payton. He was a Combat Veteran of the Korean War and a lifelong resident of Forest, MS where he was born, lived and worked. Sandy Earl was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-two years, Carolyn Coleman Payton; and his siblings, James Payton, Marie Truitt, and Beatrice Payton. He leaves to cherish in memories his children, Charlie Coleman (Annie), Jason Coleman (Stephanie), Carolyn Coleman, and Bobby Coleman (Claire); his siblings Venus Payton, Joseph Payton, Bennie Buckley, Dellaree Payton and Mildred McKelvin; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and close relatives and friends. Sandy Earl was living with his son Bobby Coleman in Gulfport, MS, where he was receiving medical treatment when he died on November 17, 2011. Service will be 1:15pm Monday, November 21, 2011 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, visit from Noon until service time. Burial in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
