Sara Fuller Williams

Sara Fuller Williams died in Ocean Springs; Ms. on Sept. 23, 2018. She was born in Huntsville, Al, 101 years ago to John D. Searcy and Smith C. Fuller. She married Felix L. Williams of Belle Factory, Al and they moved to Florida after WWII. Upon Felix’s retirement they returned to Huntsville where they lived until his death. Sara moved to Ocean Springs in 1998 to be closer to her daughter, Elizabeth Cole (Frank), of New Orleans. Her only son, Felix F. Williams and his wife, Kathy, of Aurora, Ill., predeceased her. Surviving to cherish her memory are her grandson, Frank, Jr. (Alicia) and grandson, Ragan, also of New Orleans, and her sister, Marian Singleton, of Richmond, Ky. She is also survived by nephew, Bill Berryhill, grandniece Marie Thigpen, of Huntsville and niece and nephew, Bob Singleton and Janice Singleton of Lexington, Ky. Graveside services will be held in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Ocean Springs at a later date. The family expresses gratitude for the loving care she received at The Garden and to the people of First Presbyterian for their many kindnesses. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
