Sarah "Louise" Chism

Sarah “Louise” Chism, age 91, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018. She was a native of Tupelo, MS and a resident of the coast for over 35 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Chism. Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Charles) Mercier and Sherry Bell; sons, Harold (Mary Ann) Chism and Larry (Jan) Chism; grandchildren, Joey (Angie) Seymour, Anthony Seymour, Michelle (Ron) Higgins, Heather (Abe) Blanchirot, Ashley Mercier, Leah (Randy) York, Lisa Chism, Jeremy (Ashley) Chism, Thomas Chism, and Rhett Chism; 24 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Stone County Nursing and Rehab Center for their kind and compassionate care. A service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
