Sarah Rebecca Fikes "Becky"

Sarah Rebecca Fikes “Becky”, age 63, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Becky was born in West Marrero, LA on May 3, 1961 to parents, Angelina and H.L. Strickland Jr. She attended Northeast Jones Highschool, Jones County Junior College, and USM.

She was a proud miliary homemaker and spouse. She loved music and fishing.

Sarah is preceded in death by parents, H.L. Strickland Jr. and Angelina and siblings, Stewart Strickland and LeVada Grantham.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Don Alan Fikes; children Karalina and Angelica Fikes; siblings Ruth (Eric) Pitts, Charles (Lana) Strickland, Cathy (Robert) Hutto and brother-in-law, Barry Grantham.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in her name- USO, or American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, MS.

Services will be held the following day on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:00am at the Bel-Aire Baptist Church.

A private interment will be held after.
