Sarah R. Martin age 69, of North Biloxi, MS, died Monday, September 28, 2009, in North Biloxi. Mrs. Martin was born in Santa Clara County Alabama and was raised in Overton, Alabama where she met and married Donald W. Martin Sr. They spent the remainder of their lives as members of the United States Air Force, living the last 38 years on the Gulf Coast and 27 years in the St. Martin community. She was preceded in death by her father Holland Tubbs, mother, Mable Tubbs, sister Wendy Burton, father-in-law, Colley Martin, mother-in-law, Violet Martin, her beloved granddaughter, Kristen Martin, and her beloved husband, the love of her life Donald W. Martin, Sr. Survivors include her two daughters, Pamela Griffin and husband, Jack, of Vancleave, MS, Donna Roberts and husband, Bobby, of Woolmarket, MS, two sons, Donald W. Martin Jr. of St. Martin, MS, and Randy Martin and wife, Aimee, of Biloxi, MS. She loved dearly and thought the world of Angela Holland. She was also survived by two sisters-in-law, Elaine Marshall and husband, Larry, of Clay, AL, and Tracia Bussey and husband, Travis, of Thorsby, AL, three beloved sisters, Holli Allan of Kentucky, Kaye Brasher and husband, Robert, of Gardendale, AL, and Linda Fulmer and husband, Ken, of Holland, Michigan, five beloved brothers, Jerry Tubbs and wife, Laurie, of Fort Payne, AL, Terry Tubbs and wife, Judy, of Boston, MA, Gene Tubbs of Steele, AL, Ronnie Tubbs and wife, Belinda, of Vancleave, MS, and Phillip Tubbs and wife, Betty, of Jemison, AL, nine grandchildren, Sarah Bayliss and husband, Mike, of Grand Bay AL, Clay Boone, Joshua Boone and Shane Brindley and girlfriend, Tabitha, all of Biloxi, MS, Rachel Griffin of Vancleave, MS, Alicia Gifford and boyfriend, Tim, of Woolmarket, MS, Jolyn Hardy and husband, Garrett, of Biloxi, MS, Jasmine Martin of St. Martin, MS, Clayton (C.J.) Martin of Biloxi MS, and 7 great-grandchildren, Kayle Gifford, Kerra, Cadence Hardy, Melodie Hardy, Clayton Bayliss, Blake Brindley and one on the way Caleb Bayliss. We, Randy & Aimee would like to thank SAADS Hospice for their expertise, professionalism, love, and just being there, all the time at any time. With special thanks to Miss Vicki, Miss Kristi, Mrs. Dill, and Mrs. Gloria, God bless these people because we don't know what we would have done without them. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 1, 2009, from 6 PM - 8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, October 2, 2009, there will be a 10 AM chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
