Sarah Louise Richardson, age 90, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away, quietly and peacefully, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Sarah was born on May 26, 1932 in Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Omie Bourland; her brother, William A. Bourland; her sons, William O. Richardson and Robert A. Richardson; her husband of 68 years, Oliver J. Richardson.

Sarah is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne Owney and Donald Owney; daughter-in-law, Linda Richardson; sister-in-law, Gladys Meacham; three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Sarah was a faithful Christian and a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family and friends; she enjoyed reading; over the years, she wrote numerous poems. In happy times and sad times, through joy and despair, she expressed her thoughts and emotions through her beautiful poems.

Her gentle and quiet spirit will be missed.
