SRA Sean Michael Morrissey, 21, of Gulfport, MS died Monday, November 17, 2014 in Tucson, AZ. Sean was born in Ft. Belvoir, VA, and had lived in Long Beach, MS, and Bradford, OH. Sean graduated from West Harrison High School in 2011. He entered the United States Air Force and became a proud member of the Davis Monthan AFB Fire Department in Tucson, AZ.
Sean was a quick-witted, smiling young man.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Karl R. Cousino of Arlington, MA; his aunt, Janet Brown of St. Petersburg, FL, and his uncle, Karl Cousino, Jr. of Arlington, MA.
Sean is survived by his mother, Janice Lea Withrow Morrissey; father, Douglas A. Morrissey, USN RET of Gulfport, MS; brothers, TSGT Douglas “Andrew” (Alissa) Morrissey of Tucson, AZ, SRA (Ret) Patrick Morrissey and PVT Kevin C. Morrissey both of Gulfport, MS; grandparents, John and Karen Withrow of Bradford, OH, and Barbara Cousino of Arlington, MA; uncles and aunts, John (Bev) Withrow and Jerry Withrow of Bradford, OH, Stephen Morrissey of Arlington, MA, Cheryl (Joe) Aceto of Nashua, NH, Ron (Janice) Morrissey of Marshfield, MA, Susan Coiley of Datonia Beach, FL, Ralph Morrissey of Key West, FL, Eileen (Richard) Kovacev of Arlington, MA, and Michelle (Joe) Marshall of Arlington, MA; nieces, Kennedy and Cameron, and numerous Cousinos and firefighter brothers.
Visitation is Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Rd. Gulfport. The funeral service is Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS, with full military honors.
