SGT Dudley J. Vercher (Ret. USAF), 73, of Biloxi, died Sunday, November 20, 2005 in Biloxi.
Mr. Vercher has been a member of the community since 1974. He was retired from the USAF as a Master Sergeant with 26 years of service including serving in Korea and Vietnam. He also retired from the MS Gulf Coast Coliseum with 24 years of service in landscaping.
Mr. Vercher was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Emma Vercher; two brothers, Claude and Kenneth Vercher; and a grandson, Stephen Begley.
Mr. Vercher is survived by his wife, Doreen Vercher; seven daughters, Jackalyn Begley, Lorraine Franco, Robin Tiblier, Karen White, Mandy Stevens, Terri Tillman and Kami Demelo; one son, James Gregory Vercher; three sisters, Betty Powell, Pauline Godren and Carolyn Rogers; two brothers, Winford Vercher and Eddie Vercher; fifteen grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Friends may visit from 8:30am to 9:30am Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A graveside service will follow at 10am in the Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
