Sharon Boudreaux Jones

Sharon Boudreaux Jones (Honey), 62 of Gulfport died Monday, February 22, 2021 in Gulfport, Mississippi. Sharon was born on June 1, 1958 in New Orleans, Louisiana to her parents, Andrew and Octavia Boudreaux. She attended Riverdale High School. Sharon worked as a secretary and accountant for Movers, Inc. for over 22 years. She won an award for “Best Mom Ever”! She was a devout Christian - servant of Jesus. She was a founding member of First Family Worship Center, where she proudly served the Lord. She enjoyed crocheting and listening to music of all genres. She was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her family and spending time with them. Her greatest joy was her grandson Carson. Her smile and laughter would light up the room and all those who met her were touched by her kindness. She was the foundation and mortar of her family and will be greatly missed by many. Sharon is predeceased in death by her parents, Andrew and Octavia Boudreaux. She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Jones; her children, Ronald D. Jones, II (Sabrina Jones); and Christina Jones; her grandchild, Carson Nicholas Jones; her sister, Arlene LaFleur-Rich (Michael Rich) and their children, Mark Fangue, JR. and Alison Moreno; her brother, Craig Anthony Boudreaux (Julie Boudreaux) and their son, Andrew Boudreaux; her sister, Carmen Boudreaux Urbina (Peter Robert) and their children, Julia Urbina and Ashley Urbina; her sister, Carol Boudreaux Kennedy (Douglas Kennedy) and their daughter, Reyna Cunningham. Visitation will be Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street Chapel, Gulfport, MS starting at 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:30 PM at the First Family Worship Center located at 2800 7th Avenue, Gulfport, MS. Instate will be 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to service. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
