Sharon Rose Jones

Sharon Rose Jones of Biloxi passed away on May 10, 2012 at the age of 69 due to heart failure following a bout of pneumonia. Mrs. Jones, born in Gilmer, TX on December 26, 1942, was a graduate of Gladewater High School in Gladewater, TX. Before her health failed, she was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 33 and the Keesler Air Force Base Officers' Wives Club. She was also a dedicated volunteer at the Biloxi VA Hospital. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Morrow, and two brothers Johnny Morrow and Curtis Morrow. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerry D. Jones, two daughters, Jeri (Terry) Dickson and Kathy Jones, a son, John (Cathy) Jones, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will be in Onalaska, TX at a later date.
