Sharon Lee Miller Vizzini

Sharon Lee Miller Vizzini went home to Jesus on June 9, 2010. She was the daughter and only child of Dorothy Miller and the late Walter Miller of Gulfport. Other than her father she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Jewel Daniels Pruett; maternal grandfathers, Calvin Daniels and Oscar Pruett; her paternal grandparents, Maude and Wilbur Pritchett; her aunt Bernice Wright and Uncle Lawrence Self. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Peter J. Vizzini; her son, P.J. Vizzini, II; and mother, Dorothy Miller, all of Gulfport; her aunt Era Self of CA; her uncle Wayne Wright of Bailey, MS; her seven sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her and she loved. Sharon was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach. She worked in the hotel industry and Chesire Home. The last ten years of her working life was with Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in the Pre-Need Department. She graduated from Gulfport East High School in 1977 and attened MGCC Jefferson Davis Campus. Sharon was a loving , compassionate, and people oriented person. She never met a stranger and was a joy to her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who loved her. Visitation will be Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 5 Until 7:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport with the Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach where friends may call from 12 noon until the Mass. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport. The family prefers memorials to St. Thomas Catholic Church Building Fund, P.O.
