Sharon Lynn Barnes

Mrs. Sharon L. Barnes, 51, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Saturday, April 22, 2006, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Barnes was a native of Rolla, ND and had been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 35 years. She was a lady with a big heart and lived for the love of her grandchildren and her family. She was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Barnes is survived by her husband of 26 years, Gerald Barnes, of Ocean Springs; two sons, Timothy Barnes of Biloxi and Steven Barnes of Ocean Springs: four daughters, Kim Stubin of Gulfport, Leann Barnes of Louisville, KY, Donna Jean Barnes of Memphis, TN, Wendi Gail Husley of Biloxi; her parents, Harold Rosscup of Vancleave and Shirley Blackbourn of Gautier; three brothers, Blaine Rosscup of French Lick, IN, Greg Rosscup of San Francisco, CA, and David Rosscup of Ocean Springs; her grandmother, Violet Smith of Rugby, ND, and fifteen grandchildren. A Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2006, from 4:30 until 6 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home Chapel in Ocean Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 182 A Debuys Road, Biloxi, MS 39531.
