Sharon Lynn Starks

Ms. Sharon Lynn Starks, age 47, passed away on May 30, 2015, in Jacksonville, Florida, after fighting a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Sharon was born on June 30, 1968, in Biloxi, MS. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and attended Ocean Springs schools until she graduated in 1986. Sharon had many friends and enjoyed sailing, spending her summers at the Ocean Springs Yacht Club. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel P. Starks Jr. Survivors include her son, Jamie Sewell of Jacksonville, FL, mother and stepfather, Margie and David York, brother, Sammy Starks, and niece and nephew, Allison Starks and Sam Starks, all of Ocean Springs. A Memorial Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, July 11, from 10am until 12 Noon, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
