Sharon Suarez Edwards

Sharon Suarez "Sherry" Edwards, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends after a two year battle with cancer at the age of 52. Sherry was born and raised in Biloxi, MS. She received her undergraduate degree from University of South Alabama and her masters of business administration from University of Southern Mississippi. She was employed as a purchasing agent of Northrup Gruman. Sherry enjoyed swimming, watching Justin play sports, gardening and cooking. Her devout faith in God and deep love for her husband, Paul and her son, Justin sustained Sherry during her illness until the time of her death on May 7, 2009. She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Louis Suarez and her mother, Eula Mae Suarez. Sherry is survived by her husband, Paul and son, Justin, stepson, Damon and his wife, Stacy, three grandchildren, Jordon, Deanna, Tabitha, mother-in-law, Pauline Edwards, brother-in-law, Porter Edwards, Jr., and his wife, Paula Edwards, aunt Elaine Brown, cousin, Peggy Brown, niece, Michelle Cooksey, family nephew, David Edwards and his family, many cousins and a host of friends. Visitation is Sunday, May 10, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
