Shawn Luke Brockett

Shawn Luke Brockett, 30 of Gulfport, MS passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in Gulfport.

Luke was born on May 14, 1993 in Oklahoma City, OK.  He graduated from Harrison Central High School and was employed at Boomtown Casino.  His hobbies included lacrosse, horseback riding and Oklahoma University football.

Luke is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dan Turrentine and by his grandfather, Danny Myers.

He is survived by his parents, Stephen Brockett and Shawn Ellen Guyot; his siblings, Bryce Brockett (Jessica), Mia Guyot, Jake Brockett (Abby) and Carson Brockett; his aunt, Alyson Smith (Tommy); uncles, Jeff Brockett and David Myers (Aimee); grandmother, Margaret Myers; nieces, Macy Brockett and Emma Brockett; nephew, Owen Brockett; cousins, Connar Boring, Tyler Myers (Ashli), Ava Myers and Ellison Myers; and by his dog son, Rico Suave.

The family prefers donations in his memory to be made to the Harrison County Humane Society and the Brain Injury Association of America, P.O. Box 7416, Merrifield, VA 22116-7416.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at The Mission Church, 21025 Success Road, Saucier, MS 39574.
