Shawn Sumrall

Mr. Shawn Edward Sumrall, age 21, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in Pascagoula. Mr. Sumrall was born in Mobile, AL., and a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. He attended Ocean Springs schools and graduated in 2006. Mr. Sumrall was a member of the Lemoyne Baptist Church and was employed at Applebees Restaurant in Ocean Springs. He was truly dedicated to his job and an avid Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Janette and Ronald Benezue, Sr., and Winnie Pentz, an uncle, Ronald Benezue, Jr., and an aunt, Nell Griffin. Survivors include his parents, Debbie and Dean Sumrall, grandfather, Ed L. Pentz, all of Ocean Springs, a half-sister, a nephew, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends, and two beloved dogs, Spanky and Rocky. Visitation will be on Friday, April 27, 2007, from 5-8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Saturday, April 28, 2007, there will be an 11 AM church service at the Lemoyne Blvd. Baptist Church, where friends may visit from 10 AM - 11 AM.
