Sherry Eddy Gavin

Ms. Sherry Gavin Eddy, 58 years young, of Jackson, MS died in Jackson, Thursday, July 21, 2005. Ms. Eddy was a native of Biloxi and lived in Jackson for the past 15 years. She was employed with the MS State Tax Commission as a Processor. She was of the Lutheran Faith. Sherry loved life, her family and people in general and everyone loved her. Ms. Eddy was preceded in death by her father, Bernard "Buddy" Gavin. She is survived by her mother, Lillian Ada Gavin of St. Martin; her companion of 20 years, Mark Kuhn of Jackson; three sons, Duane Eddy of Morgan City, LA, Dean Eddy and Danny Eddy both of Ocean Springs; two grandchildren, Michael and Toby; six sisters, Lois Dunnaway of Latimer, Judy Dunigan of St Martin, Kay Sonnier of Vancleave, Phillis Brown of Latimer, Lillian "Lee" Sims and her husband David, Sharon Hinote and her husband Toby of D'Iberville. Visitation will be Sunday, July 24, 2005 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a service at 2:00 pm all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'keefe Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Biloxi City Cemetery.
