Sheryl Diane Hinton

Sheryl Diane Hinton, age 73, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Gulfport.

Sheryl was born in Leland, MS to Melton Wells and Marie Pope Wells.  Her hobbies were watching SEC football, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and movie nights with her husband.  She was a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Ruth Fratesi and Virginia Pinnix; and her brothers, John Wells, Dean Wells and Jim Wells.

Sheryl is survived by husband, Sammy Hinton; children, Donna Hinton and David Hinton; grandchildren, Jon Hinton, Ashlee Picou, Eli Hinton and Ty Hinton; great grandchildren, Delilah Hinton, Zane Hinton and Paityn Johnson; siblings, Roy Wells and Sonya Brewer; and special nieces and nephew Brandi Brewer, Amoriana Taylor and Kylon Taylor.

Private services were held by the family.
