Shirley A. Lloyd

Mrs. Shirley A. Lloyd, 81, of Biloxi, died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at her home in Biloxi, MS. Mrs. Lloyd was born in New Orleans, LA and has been a resident of Biloxi for the past forty-six years. She was a wonderful, loving and caring wife and mother, and the rock for all her loved ones. Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, William H. Lloyd, Sr.; two sisters, and one brother. Mrs. Lloyd is survived by three daughters, Darlene Sonier and her husband Daryl of Napoleanville, LA, Sandy Lloyd of Metarie, LA and Patty Lloyd of Biloxi, MS; three sons, William H. "Buddy" Lloyd, Jr. and his wife Shirley of Biloxi, MS, Carl Lloyd and his wife Mary of Lauren, SC, and Randy Lloyd and his wife Ronda of Winnsboro, LA; she is also survived by ten grandchildren, Darin Sonier and his wife Lisa, Darla Mirelez and her husband Dan, Chris Wickizer and his wife Laura, Jackie Hill, William H. "Billy" Lloyd III, Zachery Lloyd, Micah Lloyd, Rachel Lloyd, Ryan Lloyd and Reagan Lloyd; and three great-grandchildren, Lillian Mirelez, Lukey Mirelez and Jessica Hill. Mrs. Lloyd is loved very much and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 4, 2007 at 9:00am in the Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
