Shirley Ann Broussard

Mrs. Shirley "Candy" Broussard, 65, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, in Biloxi. Mrs. Broussard was born in Baxter, TN and had been a longtime resident of the coast. She was a great people person and a very hard worker. She enjoyed her job at the Grand Casino in Gulfport and she loved tending bar. She enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, dancing and a good crawfish boil. Mrs. Broussard is preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Lynch and three brothers, Jerry, Dean and Buddy Broussard. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy (A. J.) Shoemaker, Sonja Broussard and Vicky Broussard; two sons, Ronnie (Rebecca) Broussard and Dudley (Dianna) Broussard; one sister, Ruby Cuevas; sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
