Shirley Blackbourn

Shirley Marie Blackbourn (nee Smith), age 70 of Gautier passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Blackbourn was born on August 2, 1937 and was a resident of the coastal community and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, her brother, her sister, her daughter, a great-grandson, and a step-granddaughter. She is survived by: her husband, Robert of Gautier, MS; her mother, Violet Smith of Rugby, ND; 3 sons - Blaine (Elaine) Rosscup of Ocean Springs, MS; Garrett Ross of San Francisco, CA; David (Renae) Rosscup of Ocean Springs, MS; 2 step daughters, Cherrie Foley of Ocean Sprigs, Ms. and Kathlene Hatfield of Austin, AK.; 1 stepson, Kevin Blackbourn Helfgott of North Liberty. IA.; Brother-in-law Lionel Blackbourn & sister-in-law Lavis Logan both of New Zealand; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and other extended family. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
