Shirley Gilbert Heggins

Mrs. Shirley Gilbert Heggins, 62, of Biloxi, MS, went to her heavenly home Saturday, April 11, 2009, in Biloxi. Mrs. Heggins was born August 6, 1946, in Canton, MS. She had been a resident of the Gulf Coast most of her life. She was a member of Bibleway Baptist Church and retired from Twelve Baskets Food Bank. Mrs. Heggins was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Bernice Gilbert; sister, Jackie; and brothers, Jimmy and Ralph. She was the beloved wife of Jimmy Heggins of Biloxi; mother of Christy (Rocky) Wood of Latimer, Dianna Heggins of Biloxi, Ronnie (Mimi) Monk of Saucier, Stevie (Diane) Monk of Vancleave; sister Brenda (Ralph) Lott of Edwards, MS: and grandchildren, Aaron, Felicia, Josh, Lil Stevie, Chelsie, Kenny, Kellie (Chris), Cori, Shaughnessy, Dalton, Kensey, Logan and Peyton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 12:30 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi, where friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery
