Shirley Jean Mullen

“Jeannie” Mullen, died on Monday, May 31, 2021 surrounded in love and prayer. Jeannie was born on March 10, 1960 to Wallace Harry Sullivan and Beverly Jean Lewis in Madison, IN. She was a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 35 years. Jeannie was a graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for several years and later, an Area Manager with a local self-storage company for 10 years. Jeannie married the love of her life, Donald J. Mullen on November 22, 1991 and they were married for 29 years. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Brandi Sullivan; her father, “Harry”; and her step-father, Donald Purdy. Jeannie’s survivors include her husband, Donald; her children, Benjamin (Amanda), Brianne (Steven) and Donnie (Kelly); her mother, Beverly J. Purdy; and her grandchildren, Fisher, Autumn, Liberty, Sebastian, Sawyer, Silas, Lia, Austin, Hannah and Ethan. Visitation will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm with a 1:30 pm Celebration of Life.
