Shirley Tinnon

Mrs. Shirley D. Tinnon, age 81, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Tinnon was born on September 4, 1934, in Versailles, KY. She was a registered nurse in Lexington, KY for twenty years before retiring. She then moved to the coast in 1978 and was the owner and operator of Mans Best Friends Pet Shop in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Earl Tinnon. Survivors include two daughters, Jenny Burke and Julia (David) Thexton, son, Michael (Becky) Tinnon, her twin brother, Sherman Dozier, sister, Betty Dozier, six grandchildren, Kelly, Mindi, Mickey, Brad, Ashley and John, and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, April 8, from 5 pm until 7 pm, with a 7 pm Memorial Service, all at Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
