Shirley Anne Handler Vogle

Shirley Anne Handler Vogle, 69, of Biloxi, Mississippi went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday May 28, 2022, at her home in Biloxi, Mississippi surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer.

Mrs. Vogle was a country girl who had a fighting spirit for her family and a passion for cooking, quilting, gardening and fishing. When asked what her greatest accomplishments are, Mrs. Vogle would simply say being a mother and grandmother. Mrs. Vogle will truly be missed by her family and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Morris M. Handler, Sr. and Winona R. Handler; her husband, Arnold R. Vogle; and her two brothers, Arthur D. Handler, Sr. and Samuel B. Handler.

Mrs. Vogle is survived by her children, Detria L. Vogle of Biloxi and Rachel C. Vogle of Biloxi; her granddaughter, Maddison Ladnier of Saucier; and her siblings, James (Diane) Williams, Donna “Susie” K. Handler of Biloxi, Mac “Mackie” W. Handler Sr. of Biloxi and Morris “Mo” M. Handler, Jr. of Biloxi; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:00 am. Friends may visit from 9:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Vogle Cemetery in Success, MS.
