Mrs. Stacy Marie Gollott Pitalo, 44, was born on January 6, 1967 in Biloxi, MS, and passed away August 31, 2011. Stacy was a lifelong resident of Biloxi and lived with her high school sweetheart and husband, Jimmy Pitalo. She attended Biloxi High School and Jefferson Davis Campus of MGCCC. Currently, she was working at Specialized Treatment Facility for the state of MS. Her family was her passion and she was happiest when surrounded by them, especially her grandson, A.J. She loved hosting Saints football gatherings with her husband for family & friends and an annual Mardi Gras party. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Gollott and Diane Edgerton Gollott. Stacy is survived by her husband, Jimmy Pitalo, her son Anthony Pitalo and his wife Amy Freche Pitalo; grandson A.J. Pitalo; Sisters, Tracy Lyn Gollott Pratt (Jay) and Marla Gollott Schwartz (Nektarios); Brothers, Ray-Ray Gollott (Denise) and Danny Gollott; Grandparents Billy and Mary Edgerton; and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Pallbearers are Stacy’s nephews; Timmy McMahan, Jason Lancon, Lee Lancon, T’Jay Pratt, Tyler Pratt, and Dmitri Schwartz. Visitation will be Monday, September 5, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with an 11:00 a.m. chapel service at the Howard Avenue Chapel at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Interment will follow at the Bosarge Family Cemetary in St. Martin. Stacy was always ready to do her best, with a heart so true and tender. Stacy devoted her life to those she loved, and those she loved to remember.
