Mr. Stallworth Bang, age 79, of Vancleave, MS., died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, in Vancleave.
Mr. Bang was a lifelong resident of the community and a retired fisherman. He was also a member of Vancleave Holiness Church.
Mr. Bang was preceded in death by his parents, Babe and Lula Bang, one sister, Vally Bang, three brothers, Earl, Namon, Worthren Bang, and his wife, Jeanette Bang. He is survived by five sisters, Shirley White, Patty Williams, Ola Mae Waltman and husband, Lonzo, all of Vancleave, Myrtle Waltman of Gautier, Annie and Jack Covacevich of Ocean Springs, four brothers, Duke, Sam, Bud, and Booster Bang, all of Vancleave, two daughters, JoAnn Kirby of Virginia and Maggie Lou Griffin of Magnolia, special friends, Louise and David Cates, LeRoy Waltman, David Lee Mohr, Bob Stringfellow, and Sonny Williams, special nephews, Randy Ely and Lee Waltman, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Cates, Scott Sutterfield, Willie Bang, Norman Bang, Brandon Pace, Paul Myers, with honorary pallbearers, Randy Ely, Jr., David Lee Mohr, Bob Stringfellow, Brian Bang, Leroy Waltman, and Sammy Bang.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 4, 2005, from 5-9 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Saturday, March 5, 2005, there will be a 1 PM church service, at the Vancleave Holiness Church, where friends may visit from 10 AM - 1 PM. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery.
