Stanley Martin Hansen, Sr. of Long Beach, MS passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the age of 79.
He was born July 28, 1944, in Gulfport, MS to William Alexander Hansen, Sr. and Mary Dauro Hansen. Stanley attended Perkinston Junior College, worked for South Central Bell (AT&T) for 31 years and was a member of the Air National Guard (1962). He was a Ham Radio operator, and enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with family.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Clara L. Hansen, children: Wendy V. Dubuisson and Stanley M. Hansen, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Elise Hansen; grandchildren: Dylan Dubuisson, Derek Dubuisson, Ashley Fisher, and Brennen Hallman; great-grandchild, David “Tripp” Fisher, III; brothers, William Alexander Hansen, II and Daniel T. Hansen, Sr.
The family would like to thank Pass Christian Nursing Home “for taking wonderful care of our beloved father in his last days”.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Friday, April 26, 2024 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Long Beach, MS, with visitation starting at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach, MS.
